A miracle from Paula in Michigan. My father-in-law is 96 years old and in pretty good health, but he has occasional problems with his heart and he tends to worry about it quite a bit. Last winter his heart was in Arrhythmia and he needed an out-patient procedure that included a shock to his heart to get it back into its normal rhythm.
Now a little aside about myself. For several years I have been working with MAP – a spiritual medical assistance team I learned about through Machaelle Wright, the developer of Perelandra – The Center for Nature Research. With MAP, individuals invite and work with their own personal medical team, who are spiritual beings, and my team is named “Starry Night”. I don’t talk about it too much because, well, people think it’s a bit odd. I can only say that my team works very well for me with regard to any medical physical, mental, or emotional concerns I may have.
My father-in-law had his procedure scheduled at the hospital early in the morning. While in most cases this is not a difficult procedure, due to his age, the professionals were being especially cautious. I was in his room with his wife and three daughters when two of the surgical nurses came into the room to make sure he was ready to go. They were standing on either side of me talking with us. Both nurses were wearing pagers on lanyards around their necks and suddenly both pagers went off simultaneously. They looked at their pagers, then at each other and then back to their pagers quizzically. One nurse asked the other, “Who is Starry Night?” After a moment, they decided it was just an odd mistake and continued with the procedure preparation. I know this was no mistake and it certainly got my immediate attention – it was MY TEAM. I simply smiled and told the nurses he was definitely ready.
We were told the procedure could take up to an hour, but it was completed in less than 15 minutes and his doctor was amazed at how well it went.
I don’t know exactly why the MAP team announced their presence, but the miracle that they performed will always remain with me.
